We have tabled our amendments to the economic measure soon after landed in the House, the vote of confidence in the Senate. It is, as everyone knows, the more radical operation to reduce the thick public in recent decades, of which we do not discuss the need and the choice of linear cuts and undifferentiated, the lack of selectivity and iniquity of the officers.
points on which we have not asked to make cuts are those with greater sensitivity to our community: the direct assistance, assistance for education and culture, funding for information, deductions for dependent family, the pension of undue leniency for residents abroad, excluding forced expropriation for the recovery of undue pension, the exemption an aging pensionabile, la rete diplomatico-consolare, l’accelerazione del consolato digitale.
Sappiamo anche, però, che gli elettori all’estero ci hanno dato mandato di essere per loro un soggetto attivo di tutela e di proposta e che quindi è nostro preciso dovere offrire sempre and to the full the opportunities to reflect and do better, first of all on migration policies.
If anything, we regret that in most cases these battles in the Parliament we have to go it alone because almost always elected the Foreign Constituency placed in most align themselves with logical and deployment of party affiliation.
There is another reason, then, that leads us to constantly keep this conversation open, beyond the little plays they receive from the government. The representatives of Italians abroad, elected in COMITES and CGIE, have long since launched a resistance campaign that has taken place recently in the popular demonstrations in Frankfurt, Buenos Aires and Vancouver. Well, even in a situation of serious problems like this, it seemed right to resume their proposals and make them live at the parliamentary level to say that we were with them and we'll be through. We are not with them the spirit of propaganda, of which there's really no need at this time, but for the sharing of problems and in solidarity with our community which continue to be owned.
