The economic measure prepared by the Government does not include modifications on the front ICI e sulle detrazioni fiscali per carichi di famiglia. Trattandosi di importi di entità ridotta il Governo avrebbe potuto identificare la copertura finanziaria per questi due provvedimenti. Si tratta di ristabilire equità e parità di trattamento. La questione ICI interessa i residenti all’estero che possiedono una casa in Italia e non sono esclusi dal pagamento della tassa comunale sulla prima casa come avviene per i residenti in Italia.
Ricordo che il decreto 93, convertito in Legge 24 luglio 2008, n. 126, sulla salvaguardia del potere di acquisto delle famiglie, ha abolito l’ICI sulla prima casa ma ha escluso da questa norma i residenti all’estero che sono invece tornati a pagare l’importo pieno dell’ICI, essendo state also abolished the reductions introduced by the Prodi government.
