Since 2002, the cooperative, self-financing initiatives, is committed in the course of social welfare and recreational activities for disabled children of the town of Priolo Gargallo. Not without hard work has brought this activity to date, taking care of the boys from 9.00 to 17.00, Monday ' Friday ', and raising their families from myriad difficulties by providing them with transport service and daily meals (breakfast, lunch and snack). The cooperative
has not used for these activities, no convention or form of financing institutions and local authorities. In 2003 he did a service for the town of Priolo Gargallo, which provided for the establishment of common schools of the same team a socio-psycho-pedagogical and technical support to persons with disabilities (students H).
The cooperative has also promoted and conducted from December 2005 to June 2006, with the contribution of the Municipality of Priolo Gargallo, a pilot project called " Therapeutics Mind" which were conducted with the children belonging to the center, pet therapy activities (activities assisted with the animal), swimming pool and gym.
Among the activities that the cooperative has offered to children in these years there are the summers by the sea (2003-2004-2005-2006) at a bathhouse in the area, outputs recreation (bowling, hiking, shopping malls, water park, museum, walks, etc..) participation in the Carnival of the town of Priolo Gargallo 2002-2006, living nativity and organization of religious events, motorcycle rally in February 2004, May 2005 and May 2006, participation in Palestriadi October 2006.

With the school year 2005/2006 has began running for the municipalities of Priolo G. and Syracuse the school transport service for disabled in means of transport equipped with footrest, driver and assistente.In functions of specific situations and occasional, it is expected, after evaluation, the possibility of providing a service to ssistance Homecare for people with disabilities. The home care service is a service that caters for the disabled partially or not at all self-sufficient, is intended to enable them to remain in their living environment, promoting the recovery, maintenance and development of self-support through a family . The commitment is more onerous in terms of human resources, economic and organizational reasons, the activity is comparable to that of a socio-educational Day Centre for disabled activity, as indicated above, at the CIAPI

The routine of daily activities the center provides:

transport service from home to center;

Conduct activities planned schedule (eg, att. educational, recreational, creative, recreational, motor, etc..)

Afternoon activities (see above);

Accommodation local activities;

Service transportation from home.

from 17/11/2008 to 31/01/2010 The service was launched for the sole territory of the Municipality of Priolo Gargallo, with more than 20 people of which 18 are certified under L.104/92.
