The Coopers "tree" made in Priolo in 1997, with 15 initial members, carries out activities to assist the most vulnerable and disadvantaged sections of society, particularly towards the disabled people.
In 2002, the cooperative was restructured at the corporate level, with today 's presidency Ms White Martines, and has grown to include 23 members. After this date, greater sensitivity, the engagement with disabled people has been even more privileged and attention.
In the same year by renting some rooms in Priolo Gargallo efforts have been made, self-financing initiatives in the conduct of social welfare and recreational activities for 15 disabled children in the municipalities of Priolo Gargallo and Syracuse, raising families in myriad difficulties.
Since 2004, the headquarters of the center is located at the facilities of CIAPI Priolo Gargallo.
In 2003 he was awarded a service to the town of Priolo Gargallo, which provided for the establishment nelle scuole dello stesso comune di una equipe socio-psico-pedagogica ed un servizio di assistenza tecnica ai soggetti disabili nelle scuole (alunni H).
Tra le attività che la cooperativa ha proposto ai ragazzi in questi anni vi sono le estati al mare (2003-2004-2005-2006) presso una struttura balneare della zona, uscite ricreative (bowling, escursioni, centri commerciali, acquapark, museo, passeggiate, etc.), partecipazione al Carnevale del comune di Priolo Gargallo dal 2002 al 2006, organizzazione del presepe vivente ed eventi religiosi, motoraduno nel febbraio 2004, maggio 2005 e maggio 2006, partecipazione alle Palestriadi ottobre 2006.
Per il Comune di Priolo G. è stato espletato inoltre il progetto "Terapeutica-Mente" which included: physical and psycho-motor activity (swimming pool and gym), linked to the body combined with the music, and pet therapy activities (activities and animal-assisted therapy - Dog).
